This pancocojams post documents some changes in the words in "Miss Sue From Alabama" rhymes that I have found online from people living in some Southern states of  the United States (1942 to the 2000s).

All of the examples in this pancocojams compilation include information about where the rhyme was collected or where the contributor first chanted or first heard that rhyme (i.e. in a particular southern state).

Most of these examples also include when the contributor first chanted or first heard that version of "Miss Sue From Alabama".

"I grew up in and around New Orleans. The first time I remember this was second grade, 1973. It was a hand game song. Each person's right hand hits down while left hand hits up. Then each person's right hand hits up while left hand hits down. Then each person's hands hit in front of them. (Additional hand moves in parentheses.)
All of this while singing:

Miss Sue, Miss Sue, Miss Sue from Alabama.
Hey little girl with the dippity doo,
Your momma's got the measles and your poppa does too.
They've got the A B C D E F G (make a circle around your right temple like signalling that they are crazy)

"Hi there. I'm from Mississippi and was in elementary school in the late 80's through early 90's. the version of "Miss Sue" I remember was not listed here. I thought I'd help you out. Last time I heard it, I think it had varied ever so slightly from when I was in school, but this is how I remember it: Miss Sue (clap clap clap) Miss Sue (clap clap clap) Miss Sue from Alabama Sittin' in a rocker eatin' betty crocker watchin' that clock go tick-tock, tick-tock-banana-nana tick-tock, tick-tock banana-nana ABCDEFG-wash those stains right out'a my knees MUSHKA, MUSHKA, MUSHKA FREEZE (as fast as you can) 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10!

There were hand motions for each line, similar to the usual ones. At the last part (boom chicka wa wa) we crossed our hands on our laps and back over and over, when the song ended if they were parallel, you were the little boy, if they were crossed you were the girl. It was really weird now that I think about it but we never did it any of the ways I've seen on YouTube or here!"

I also want to note that there were hand gestures throughout the entire song to accompany the song. My friends and i would do this at after-school when we were roughly 8-10. Im in a folklore class at the moment and its really interesting discussing variations of stories and the like and it got me thinking about songs from my childhood."

PLAYGROUND RHYMES SOURCE MATERIALS & TUNES
Advertisement jingles often use tunes from previously composed songs, rhymes, and chants. For example, the tune for the "McDonalds Is Your Kind Of Place" jingle is based on the African American Gospel song "Down By The Riverside" (Ain't Gonna Study War No More). Using familiar tunes means that those chanting can concentrate on remembering the words and doing the handclap routines without worrying about how the tune goes.*

Advertisement jingles aren't the only source for words to playground rhymes. Playground rhymes also include verses and references from popular songs, television programs, movies, Mother Goose rhymes, and other playground rhymes. Lines from other songs & rhymes are called "floating verses or traveling verses".

Each of the versions of "Welcome to McDonald's" ("Big Mac") that are showcased in this post contains an example of a "floating verse" or "floating line" from another rhyme or song.

For example, Example #2 of Version #1 of "Welcome To McDonalds" ends with the line "And the dish ran away with the spoon". That line comes from the Mother Goose rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle". For some reason, that end line appears to be used a lot for this rhyme (my daughter also used it in the 1980s in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania).

I'm not sure why that line is combined with that McDonalds jingle. My daughter said she added those words to the end of that rhyme "because they fit". I wouldn't be surprised to learn that some television comedian recited that parody that way and kids picked it up from that segment. But that's just a guess.

Also, notice that the "you deserve a break today" line in that video uses the same tune as those lines in the 1980s McDonalds "source jingle".

And Example #3 of Version #1 of "Welcome To McDonalds" has only the first two "standard" lines of that rhyme followed by a version of the playground rhyme "See My Pinky".

Version #2 of "Welcome To McDonalds" includes the words & actions to the rhyme "Rock, Paper, Scissors". And there are verses from other playground rhymes that are combined with the "core" words for "Welcome To McDonalds" ("Big Mac").

It makes sense that "I Am A Pretty Little Dutch Girl" rhyme originated in the United States   since the cities that are referenced in these rhymes are from

As documented in that Wikipedia page, there are LOTS of examples of "I Am A Pretty Little Dutch Girl" (as pretty as can be), Most of the versions of that rhyme that are included on that Wikipedia page include verses from one or more stand alone rhymes.

The Wikipedia page for "I'm A Little Dutch Girl" (or "I'm A Pretty Little Dutch Girl") doesn't mention the "I Am A [Pretty Little] First Grader" variant rhymes.

INFORMATION ABOUT "I AM A LITTLE FIRST GRADER" RHYMES
"I Am A [Pretty] Little First Grader" rhymes are examples of how children's recreational rhymes can change over time and within certain populations.

"I Am A Little First Grader" rhymes are variant examples of "I Am A Little Dutch Girl" (As pretty as I can be" . Another grade level can replace the words "first grader" in these rhymes (for example, "I Am A Pretty Little Third Grader".. "I Am A Pretty Little Sixth Grader". 

My guess is that these variant examples of "I Am A Little First Grader" rhymes came from African Americans, in part because of the use of introductory words for a number of these rhyme such as "Sea sea sea at the bottom of the sea" and "swing swing swing at the bottom of the sea".

Those introductory words or other similar introductory words are also found in some other African American originated rhymes such as "Tweeleelee" and "I Don't Want To Go To To Mexico No More". The introductory words "Shame Shame Shame" have been used so often for "I Don't Want To Go To Mexico" rhymes that it has become the title for that rhyme among many African American girls.

A sub set of "I Am A Little First Grader" rhymes include the words [I saw my boyfriend talking] "to the ugliest girl in the world", the examples completely turn around the "prettiest girl with the strawberry curls" description that are standard to many of the "I Am A Little Dutch Girl" rhymes. Those words may have been changed because the  chanter can't believe that there's another girl in world who is prettier than she is, and the chanter believes the ugliest girl in the world is no threat to her.

Examples of "I Am A Pretty Little First Grader" that I've come across Dutch Girl" are combined with verses of one or more stand alone rhymes (rhymes that can be chanted by themselves or in combination with other recreational rhymes.)

WHAT IS THE EARLIEST DATE FOR THE "I AM A PRETTY LITTLE FIRST GRADER" RHYMES?
The earliest example of "I Am A Little First Grader that I've directly (in person) come across an example of "I'm A (Pretty) Little Firs Grader" rhyme was 2000 (African American girls, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). That example has the words: "I saw my boyfriend talking/to a very pretty girl with strawberry curls'.  

I also collected another example of "I Am A First Grader" in person in 2000 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and another in 2004 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. That second example has the words "I saw my boyfriend talking/to a very pretty girl with cherry pie curls". Both of those examples were from African American girls from Fort Pitt Elementary School in the Garfield section of Pittsburgh. Click http://cocojams2.blogspot.com/2014/10/hand-clap-jump-rope-rhymes-examples-i-j.html to read those two examples.

In April 2010, I collected the same rhyme from two 9 year old African American girls (Takeya and Alexus) who live in the same neighborhood as Fort Pitt Elementary School. (The name for that Pittsburgh Publich School had changed to Fort Pitt Accelerated Learning Academy and that school has since been closed.

When the rhyme called for the girls to give their grades, one girl chanted "I am a second grader" at the same time the other girl chanted "I am a third grader". Both girls said the "get your black hands off of me" line at the end of that version of that rhyme.

I also heard the beginning of this same rhyme chanted by a third grade African American girl in the lunchroom of the same Pittsburgh public school in May 2010 when I was substitute teaching there. That girl said "I am a third grader"/as pretty as can be be be". Unfortunately, I wasn't able to hear the rest of the rhyme.

These"I Am A [Pretty Little] First Grader" rhymes usually appear to be chanted by elementary school age girls (around 6-10 years old) while performing partner hand clap routines. The grade that is mentioned in examples of the rhyme is the school grade the chanter/s are in.

A few examples that are showcased in this pancocojams post have the words "I saw my boyfriend talking to] "the ugliest girl in the whole wide world and this is how my story goes" or "this is what I said to her" or a similar ending..

In those examples the title "I Am A Little First Grader" (or similar titles) replaces the "original" title that refers to the girl being pretty (since the words "the ugliest girl in the whole wide world" replace the original words "the prettiest girl in the whole wide world".)
