This is Part I of a multi-part pancocojams series that showcases some YouTube video examples of African American (Soul) line dances that were choreographed for music that wasn't recorded for line dancing.

These videos feature the line dance and not the record itself.

These YouTube videos are given in no particular order. 

This pancocojams series isn't intended to be comprehensive. The examples that are showcased in this series are those that I've chosen for one reason or various reasons, including that these line dances are or were popular among African Americans.

All of these line dance videos have multiple video and audio examples on YouTube. 

The content of this post is presented for historical, cultural, entertainment, and aesthetic purposes.
