Here's an auto generated summary of Tabitha Speaks Politics' first video about the Purple Revolution (October 6, 2025) which gives a definition of that movement:
...the "Purple Revolution" [is] a movement urging unity between left and right. The commentator observes videos featuring former Trump supporters reflecting on their past actions and advocating for human rights. They question the movement's practicality and long-term goals"...

This is Part IV of a four part pancocojams series on the newly conceptualized (October 2025) Purple Revolution movement in the United States.*

This post focuses on the themes of accountability and racism as various people (and I) believe that they relate to the Purple Revolution movement in the United States. This pancocojams post showcases an October 7, 2025 YouTube of TabithaSpeaksPolitics video and an excerpt of the auto-generated transcript of that video. This post also showcases an October 7, 2025 video of Brian Murphy, founder of the Purple Revolution (United States). Selected comments from that video's discussion thread are also included in that post.

That video presents some comments from Black Americans and from a few Brown Americans (Latinos/Latinas) that are published on the discussion thread of this showcased TabithaSpeaks Politics' video.

The majority of the comments in that discussion thread and therefore in this pancocojams compilation document that those Black Americans and Brown Americans are highly critical of this newly conceptualized Purple Revolution.

This pancocojams post purposely doesn't include any comments from this TabithaSpeaksPolitics discussion thread who reference the musician/singer Prince and his band the Revolution.  Those comments are presented separately in Part III of this pancocojams series.

EXCERPT FROM TABITHA SPEAKS POLITICS' OCTOBER 7, 2025 VIDEO ABOUT THE PURPLE REVOLUTION IN THE UNITED STATES

 "
Message to the leader of the Purple Revolution…"

Click the auto-generated transcript feature in this video for the complete transcript.  This excerpt is given "as is" with no spelling or punctuation changes.

"Hey sir, how you doing? First, I want to say that I commend you and all of the
MAGA people who are finally waking up.

I also want to commend you for your very public apology to the black community
and marginalized communities as a whole for acknowledging the hurt caused to my
community and other marginalized communities by the people within the
MAGA, the Republican party, the cult.

I'm going to be very honest with you, very straightforward with you.
I won't be a part of your um purple revolution.

I do recognize that it is a much needed revolution though.

I won't be a part of it because too much hurt.

I, I have too much hurt from dealing with MAGA people over the past 10 years.

You all have harassed, you have you all have bullied, you all have terrorized me
and people who look like me. You all have called me some of the most heinous things.

You've said some of the most vile things to me these past 10 years.

So, no, I won't be a part of your purple revolution, but I do wish you much success in that because it is necessary for MAGA to wake up to see who the enemy really is and what it is that they have been doing and how it has affected all of us.

I do want to give you a couple of tips though.

I those who are speaking up about the purple revolution, what it is,

what your goals are, although I haven't heard any goals.

I know a lot of you are saying that it's, it's not about politics. It's about people coming together.

The first thing you need to realize is that it is about politics.

It, this whole division that has taken place in this country is as a result of politics.

[...]

And until you all want to acknowledge that, I don't I don't think you're going

to have much success with the purple revolution. When it comes to

accountability, that's your own personal journey.

But when it comes down to the politics of this situation,

you all are going to have to recognize that what most people on the left have

been calling for is basic human rights for everyone. And until you all publicly

accept that and acknowledge that everyone in this country has a right to

basic human rights, you're not going to succeed with your revolution.

[...]

The second thing is you all are doing too much talking.

Too much talking. Um where we are right now is action.

We don't want to have conversation anymore. We don't. What we want is

action.

And those actions would be a good start into proving that you truly
have denounced Donald Trump and his regime and you are looking for a better tomorrow.

Put actions behind your words.

Good luck to you."

"I believe this man is sincere, but as others have said here, that’s the first step. He needs to show us he means it.  But he’s in a great position to do that.  He’s realized how wrong the MAGA cult is, but he has seen it from the inside. He knows how it works. He can be a real evangelical for helping others get out of it.  Doing acts like that would be a terrific and covincing way to show his contrition."

"I want to believe him but unfortunately this video is still just words. I will believe him when I actually see him standing side by side with us at a protest, when I see him standing up for the dignity and rights of minorities against his former compatriots, when I see him defending minorities from ICE, that is when I will believe him. Unfortunately the side that he is distancing himself from has lied to our faces so brazenly for so long that I simply can not believe words no matter how sincere I find them, to be clear I do find his words to be sincere but words are not enough, not anymore."

"I think your apology and admission is sincere and took courage to share your story. I want you to understand that many of us have been fighting this regime since 2016. We’ve watched MAGA distort reality, trample the constitution and incite violence to build White America. While I understand that you want to bring both sides together, most of the issues are not a two sided debate, there’s a clear right and wrong side.

To pretend that there’s middle ground on racism, sexism, sexual assault, improper use of the military, multiple violations of the Hatch Act, stolen classified documents, anti-semitism etc is folly, and only serves to absolve MAGA of responsibility.  At the end of the day, one side wanted superiority/supremacy, the other side wanted civil rights and healthcare. Please help me to understand the values and guiding principles you saw so appealing in MAGA.

Your effort to “bring people together” is admirable, but I can’t see the middle ground on these issues.  We need to face the reality that some people were perfectly ok with inflicting harm on people who were not like them and when confronted were willing to give up relationships with friends and family to preserve their beliefs.

There’s room for compromise with people who voted for Trump due to the economy, but I can’t forgive and forget MAGA."

Ooooookay? Like i believe his heart in the right place but black people and trans people  have been speaking out for.... decades. Saying we are all equals is one thing but that's literally not true in the unity purple movement let alone wider movements even though activism and organization have been ran by marginalized communities  and allies for decades. We've been here at the center of it for years. There's soooo much writing on that resustance and voices to learn from. On the platform he's posting on black voices are literally surpressed.  Latino people are targetted in the most flagrant way. White supremacy is one of the cores of fascism. This is a anti-racist fight. Like I said i believe him, I don't know him so "forgiveness" is odd and unnecessary to coalition (again ex MAGA have skin in the game it's in their interest to stop fascism, it's in everyone's interest. But racism remains a problem after MAGA). It's a start, I'm actually relieved that marginalized people are getting addressed because the bulk of voices using this hashtag I've seen are white, often cis, ( I'm black but algorithms are what they are) and haven't acknowledged that welcoming people from a racist cult is very different thing. We're the collateral every single time. And we are already here in the fight never left just like blm didn't start with Floyd it's been going on decades. Again just to be clear I'm good with people like him in the fight that's good. I just know many many BIPOC I'm exhausted. My Latine friends are developing stress disorders being hyper vigilant or waiting for a community member to vanish.

It would be great to get the explanation now, but we have to give them time.  They want to stand with us and stop it all. For now, that will have to be enough. Surely, those of us who want the change are strong enough for that.  Right now, just stopping this is more important.

"Black and brown , red and yellow folks have forgiven before and always get attacked again. If we are reluctant, understand that.  (I think the reason why we get attacked again is because the oppressors have shame and expect us to retaliate, all the while,  99.5 percent of us just want to live like anyone else.  But then it comes around again, someway, somehow, and we have to look over our shoulder when someone decides they don't want us around again. We do give chances and will again. But this racism really needs to be obliterated, and it really does start with all "good white folk". )

And yeah, I forgive you, Brian. But just know, if some folks don't say it aloud or at all, it's because they've been fooled one to many times. Help make it stick this time, so we can all walk together for real."

SPEAKING TRUTH is where we need to start. IF WE ARE TO BE EQUALS WE NEED TO COME TOGETHER from the HEART and be able to LISTEN and desire to not go back TO HATE."

"
I think an important bit of nuance in this conversation is that words are only hollow when they are ON THEIR OWN.  Words alone are hollow, but words can be powerful when combined with action.  IMO, it’s the actions that make the difference in whether words hold any significance.

I also think it’s important to clarify terms.  People say “there needs to be accountability”, and I agree, but it’s worth digging in to what “accountability” means, because I’m almost positive not everyone is on the same page on this.  Accountability shouldn’t be the same as retribution, and if you equate accountability with punishment, you’re only going to drive people away.  Never punish someone for doing what you want them to do.

**
51. @courtenayacevedo8340
"This is the first time I’ve heard someone regret voting the way they did and really felt like I believe him. As a member of the first wave of people who were affected by this sir I thank you for saying sorry. Many people say they regret their vote but only because it now affects them and they absolutely still feel the same way. They still want to own the libs, still want to punish people who don’t look like them, still want to subjugate women. Thank you for taking accountability and doing so publicly when you didn’t have to. You are someone I would reach across the aisle for."

**
52. @wolfc8755
"now you gotta put ACTION to your words.   I appreciate you doing these videos AND leaving up your previous maga videos so that people can see for themselves your journey and where you came from.  I hope it helps others who are also starting to question things and have doubts. And I do understand that it does come with some risk to you and maybe even your loved ones.  But keep in mind that everyone who stands up to this regime is taking a risk. And that there are already a whole lot of people in the gravest of danger for no other reason than the color of their skin, as they hide in their homes and prayfor their own and their family's safety.  And that if this regime isn't stopped, pretty soon NO ONE will be safe.

So there has to be actions too, not just words.

And you can start by calling all your republican reps in all levels of govt to make it very clear that you do NOT agree with what they and trump are doing - and be specific about what you don't agree with and the lies they tell - and tell them that you were a trump supporter in the past but that you are no longer because of the lies and horrible things they are doing.  And keep calling them to tell them that.

And you can also look online for some of the MANY resistance groups (I suggest you start with indivisible.org* and 50501, and there are many others) as they teach people HOW to peacefully resist this regime AND protect themselves while doing so (many of these resistance orgs have regular sessions that can be joined in person AND online) and how important community is and taking care of each other.  They will also tell you about upcoming protests in your area that you can take part in.

So words are a start.  And I thank you for them.

But steady sustained courageous ACTION is ALSO going to be needed if we're going to have ANY chance of stopping what is happening - and it's gonna take ACTION by ALL of us to do it.

So welcome to the resistance!

"I hear this apology. I think it's heartfelt. The regret and remorse touch me. I accept the apology. I also see the desire to take accountability. I applaud it. I'm a trans woman. I have been all my life (50+ years). I've been out since 2018. He asked me to "join him"... to ally in the struggle. But I have questions? Can I use the bathroom of my choice? Can I play on a sports team for my gender? (MY gender, not the one someone else assigns me). Can I have the health care I need? Can I live a full life without discrimination and the fear of assault and murder for being who I am? If the answer to any of those is anything other than a resounding yes... then he doesn't want an ally, but a tool. I can't speak for any of my siblings, but I can say I'll never be someone else's tool. So I'm asking this man and all the others that may be on a similar journey: Do you want an ally? Or do you want a tool? "

The f—king* AMERICAN INDIANS THIS THEIR COUNTRY. I have said this since I was 7 years old once I found out what the four fathers did to in rich their lives having no concern for the American Indians who they were killing and raping than stealing their land plus took away their own believes and freedoms they lived there lives by. So glad you found the lights and the right side of history. But you never mention the real Americans and it's the American Indians who have suffered more than anyone in this country will suffer yes even black people didn't suffer as much as the American Indians. The American Indians plus black people have suffered horrific suffering and no others who have been here for decades will never even come close to the suffering they have gone through and still do it disgusting and embarrassing and sad in 2025 America hasn't even remotely gotten it sh-t* together enough to not allow it any more absolutely mind blowing"

Are you kidding me?

A lil apology?

Let us know when you can bring back Heather Heyer, Jason Rosenbaum, or Hortman..ppl who died because ppl like YOU , Brian pushed for and praised violence.

"One thing I have to say, and I'm not saying this to be divisive or to rub anyone's nose in it or to try and lord over anyone in superiority but I have to say it, is this: We can forgive but we can't forget as has been done so many times in the past. We can't allow a mythologized alternate history to be taught just so that those we must ally with don't have their feelings hurt. The only place that leads is right back where we are right now. He's forgiven as is anyone else who decides to unify against this but after (if) we fix this, we must never hide exactly how and why this came to happen and who contributed to it."

"I agree. It was obvious to normal, intelligent people a long time ago. They have put our country in grave danger of becoming a dictatorship, thousands of innocent children dying of starvation and lack of medical aid in Myanmar and other places because WE cut off aid that we promise them.... they didn't give a sh-t* about that."

"I could debunk this video line by line, but I'll hit a few main points:

1 "we're 100% equal in this movement"  Why?  Were we all equal in the oppression?  Once again trying to put responsibility on the oppressed (post facto).  And thank you for equality when facing a militarized opponent.

2  be specific.  What "suffering" has occurred? Its easy to say "sorry about all that" without listing specific effects.

3 "being manipulated or in a cult" doesn't excuse hatred, racism and bigotry.  Those things were in his mind and heart long before MAGA

4 Words are not enough to heal.  Former MAGAs should be front-line soldiers.  Every protest, every TV appearance, every interview.  (see #1)  They should be the ones physically stopping ICE           or        legally challenging the administration.

5  Don't bring Netanyahu into this.  He has nothing to do with the centuries of injustice in the US.

6 "a lot of people on both sides have suffered"  BS!  That was the biggest laugh from me.  Please tell me how the oppressors have suffered here in the USA?  And If you say they were

   brainwashed or whatever... whatever.

7  "There's a lot of people who've taken a lot of the beating in this situation"  be REAL, bro:  Brown and black people have taken the beatings, rapings and lynchings.  By a margin of 98%

I'm only @ 5:40 in and I'm tired of this.

I'm down to fix America, but we can't unify until we can all be clear about what brought us here."

UPDATE: October 9,2025
PANCOCOJAMS EDITOR'S NOTE
I wrote this section on October 8, 2025:

I wonder if Brian Murphy or any other person or persons who were involved in choosing a name for this United States "Purple Revolution" * movement were familiar with the probable immediate connections that people-and especially Black Americans- would have with the color "purple" and the word "revolution" and the artist known as Prince.

Choosing the name "Purple Revolution" for that movement suggests to me that Brian Murphy and any other person or people involved in naming this movement didn’t know and/or didn't understand the reverence and love that a lot of African Americans still have for the artistry of the musician/composer Prince and his band “Revolution”, even though Prince dead in 2016.

I believe that Brian Murphy (and any other person or people who worked with him to conceptualize this Purple Revolution movement in the United States) didn’t realize that Prince was closely associated with the color purple primarily but not only because of his mega hit song “Purple Rain". And that was a BIG mistake and a BIG reveal about his or their paucity of knowledge of and understanding about Black American culture. That just adds to the likely difficulties that new movement will have getting Black American participation, if indeed they really want meaningful participation from this population.

Update: October 9, 2025
Here's part of the AI results from my October 7, 2025 Google search for the term "Purple Revolution":
"Purple Revolution" has multiple meanings, including the cultivation of lavender in India (2016) the end of Saddam Hussein's rule in Iraq and the establishment of elections in that country (mid 2000s. "Purple Revolution" is also be associated with "Revolution" the name of singer, musician, composer Prince's band. "Purple" was also Prince's favorite color and suggested by his 1984 hit song "Purple Rain".

Update- October 8, 2025
Here's an excerpt of the results on October 8, 2025 for an AI Overview writeup for the words "Purple Revolution against Trump's regime"
There is no record of a widespread "purple revolution" against the Trump administration. The phrase has been used in other contexts, though, and recent online discussions indicate some people are using the term to refer to a hypothetical political movement in the United States.

[...]

Recent online discussion in the U.S.
Online forums and social media show recent discussions of a "purple revolution" in the context of U.S. politics. In this usage, purple represents a blend of the "red" Republican and "blue" Democratic parties. The idea appears to be a grassroots call for unity or a bipartisan movement to address issues related to Donald Trump."...

Click https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMiM4diIZ_U "And Just Like That, The Purple Revolution Is A Bust!!" by TabithaSpeaksPolitics, October 9, 2025. In that post Tabitha Speaks Politics shows a clip of Brian Murply, the founder of Purple Revolution in the United States, lambasting people for posting comments "demanding" that the Purple Revolution follow "their policies". As Tabitha noted, the policies he is speaking of should be non-negotiable expectations that people recognize every person's basic humanity i.e. be non-racist etc.

Some of those commenters' wrote that they believe that Brian Murphy either wanted White people only to unite together for certain reasons, and never wanted that movement to include Black people or he wanted Black people to do White peoples' bidding while those White people retain their old "policies" about race and other things.

@Leira6267 I don't think BP commented on his channel because they wanted to unify with him. I'm pretty sure they knew what he was doing by calling it a Purple Revolution. They didn't fall for it.

I believe you are correct that he only wants white people to come together. But he knew by choosing that name, it would rile up some BP. I think he only pulled this BS for views. He never had any desire to truly come together, as that would involve him peeling away his racist layers.

Yes, it's all of us against the top 1 percent, but up until yesterday, maga was all for the 1 percent. They have no footing. They need to do the work to prove to us they mean what they say and can be trusted."

And how do I know he wanted use them? by calling it a PURPLE Revolution, instead of a White one. Now, if he believes Like YOU obviously, he'll swap to a WHITE Revolution....and see how far that takes him. Or, if you truly meant a PURPLE Revolution, he'll realize his error, and actually push for something different in this country. Dont worry, i know you dont get it."
