DESCRIPTIONS OF SEVERAL STOMP AND SHAKE CHEERLEADING MOTIONS
"Upstomp" is a stomp and shake movement that is performed by both female and male cheerleaders. This referent "high step" may have taken the place of "upstomp".
Here's my transcription of an October 27, 2020 UFIT UNIVERSERTY video on Facebook about upstomps https://www.facebook.com/UFITCHEERANDDANCEINC/videos/what-is-an-upstomp/2480945182208611/
"An upstomp is when you drive your right foot in the ground and you lift your left leg up in a 90 degree angle. You want to make sure that you're pointing your toes. That's very imperative when you upstomp 'cause if you don't it's not gonna look good. So you wanna make sure that you drive your right leg into the ground and then you're snapping your left leg up to a 90 degree angle with your toe pointed. You wanna see what it looks like? We'll show you.right now"....

Former Winston Salem State University cheerleader CeerPhi93* wrote this description of "upstomp" in 2022 inthe discussion thread for the YouTube video entitled Southern University "Code Blue" Stomp & Shake Cheer Team | 2020, Marvin Price, March 7, 2020 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vu5VNhE493U
"… With the upstomp, leg placement (the leg coming up) should be close to a 90 degree as possible with the upstomp foot POINTING downwards and beside the opposite knee as if you are in a (lib)"....
-snip-
I don't understand what "in a (lib)" means in that comment
-snip-
*In additional comments in that Southern University "Code Blue" discussion thread and in other YouTube discussion threads about stomp & shake cheerleading, CheerPhi93 identified himself as a former member of Winston Salem State University's (WSSU) cheerleading squad. That squad used be known as "Cheer Phi", but is now known as "Powerhouse".

JIGGLE POP
[This referent for a stomp and shake cheerleading move may be retired and replaced by the term "DOUBLE SHAKE". However, note that some references consider "jiggle pops and "double shakes" to be different moves.
I received a description of "upstomp" and "jiggle pop" ("jigga pop" via email between 2011-2012 from a former WSSU stomp & shake cheerleader whose internet screen names are/were "upstompjunkie" and "charlottefashions". I "met" upstompjunkie"/charlottefashion (he used both screen names) as a result of his participation in the discussion thread of i wrote for the sociological blog https://thesocietypages.org/socimages/2011/07/21/race-and-the-changing-shape-of-cheerleading/ Race and the Changing Shape of Cheerleading, Guest Blogger Azizi Powell on July 21, 2011 [Unfortunately, A number of the comments in that post's discussion thread, including the comments from upstompjunkie, are no longer included with that post.]
In the very few online sites that I've come across that mentioned that stomp and shake cheerleading move "Jigga pop" is usually given as "jiggle pop"
email from upstompjunkie to Azizi Powel, 2011/2012
"Upstomp

"Jigga-pop" or some call a "double shake" is a little hard to put into words. It's where you throw your hip over so hard it "whips back". It's very difficult to catch on to if not taught properly. Matter of fact in the "olympic high cheerleaders" video. The part they say ,"you can't catch these moves", they are Jigga popping/double shaking. http://youtu.be/zSjZrMqrtDQ
They know its a complicated move for other teams to steal. The name "jigga pop" has nothing to do with Jay-Z. I think its more to do with the jiggle type shake it is."

The YouTube videos whose links are given in that comment are included in the video section below.

The term "jiggle pop" is a combination of the movement words "jiggle" and "pop". https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/jiggle gives this definition for "jiggle"- "to move from side to side or up and down with quick short movements, or to make something do this".
One definition for the noun "pop" given athttps://www.dictionary.com/browse/popping is "a short, quick, explosive sound.". A combination of these two definition give a description of the stomp and shake "jiggle pop" movement.
Jiggle pops' fast hip swinging movements are best shown off when the cheerleaders wear pleated cheerleader skirts.
* A brief statement about the shake movement is given in the "Downstomp" And "Shake" section of this post.
From http://pancocojams.blogspot.com/2013/05/overview-of-stomp-shake-cheerleading.html [pancocojams excerpt with added notes]
[Unless otherwise indicated, the statements given below were written by me]
Another stomp & shake movement that female cheerleaders perform is called "jiggle pops". "Jiggle pops" are a rhythmical, fast double shake of their hips.
That term is a combination of the movement words "jiggle" and "pop". https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/jiggle gives this definition for "jiggle"- "to move from side to side or up and down with quick short movements, or to make something do this".
One definition for the noun "pop" given at https://www.dictionary.com/browse/popping is "a short, quick, explosive sound.". A combination of these two definition give a description of the stomp and shake "jiggle pop" movement.
Most stomp and shake squads are females only. When males are also members of those squads, they don't shake as much as the females. The jiggle pops movements are best shown off when the cheerleaders wear pleated cheerleader skirts.
"Here's a quote from a 2014 version of a CIAA [Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association] Wikipedia page that refers to "upstomps", "jiggle pops", and some other stomp and shake movements:
"The CIAA cheering squads practice Stomp 'N Shake that
incorporates voice, gymnastics, and dance. Over the past few decades, S-N-S has
evolved into a more technical style, priding itself on precision, accuracy, and
creativity. Included in this style are the techniques of up-stomp, up-step,
down-stomp, kick, side-kick, roll, roll-break, power-arms, slpaz-hand, clasp, blade,
and the shakes (car-wash shake, single shake, double shake, hit-shake, and
jiggle-pop). CIAA Cheerleading is most known for its cheer battles. This is
where squads battle each other during games verbally with chants. It provides a
heightened level of excitement and competition to the sports they are cheering
for. It showcases cheerleading in a different dimension. Only in this style can
you excite the crowd, rally them to cheer on the team, cheer on the team and
slay your opponent all at the same time."
-snip-
* I added italics to highlight these words.
I retrieved this on February 5, 2014. This paragraph isn’t included in that CIAA page as of 9/14/2016. No descriptions of those movements were given on that 2014 version of that Wikipedia page.
Update: November 23, 2020
I've read references to "upstomp" in a few
comments in discussion threads of some YouTube videos of stomp and shake
cheerleading. However, I can't recall reading any references to these other
stomp and shake techniques on YouTube or elsewhere online (except for
their mention in the
echsbasketballcheer.com cheer page that is quoted below.

DESCRIPTIONS OF THE "DOWNSTOMP" AND "SHAKE" MOTIONS IN STOMP & SHAKE CHEERLEADING
[Pancocojams Editor's Note:]
I believe that these descriptions came from emails from upstompjunkie to me. "Upstompjunkie" .who also use/d the screen name "Charlotte's fashion"), was a male former Winston Salem State University stomp &shake cheerleader who I referred to earlier in this pancocojams post. Unfortunately, I no longer have the emails that I received from him to confirm that he was the source of those descriptions.
The "downstomp" movement is the same as the "upstomp" (description given earlier in this post) except that the cheerleader doesn't raise her (or his) knee high when doing that stomping movement.
The "shake" movement is one in which the female and male cheerleaders shake their hips from right to left to the beat. This movement differs from jiggle pop in that these aren't fast, repetitive shakes.
-snip-
I don't have any information about the other stomp & shake motions that are listed in the previously mentioned 2014 CIAA page. I haven't come across any other online information about stomp & shake motions.
If you know any information about any of the stomp & shake cheerleading motions that have been mentioned in this post or any other stomp & shake cheerleading motions, for the cultural and historical record, please share that information in the comment section below. Thanks!

VARIOUS STOMP AND SHAKE MOTIONS MENTIONED IN AN ONLINE STOMP AND SHAKE WEBSITE
From https://www.echsbasketballcheer.com/jv-cheers.html
[This link was accessed in 2013. It now [June 9, 2023] leads to an Instragram
account that I wasn't able to access. These statements refer to that 2013 page.
This website is from East Coweta High School Basketball Cheer Program (located in Sharpsburg, GA). That website includes hyperlinks to videos of various stomp and shake cheers performed by that school's cheerleaders. That website also links to demonstrations of the following stomp and shake techniques: "downstomp", "upstomp", "jiggle pop", and "shakes".
Unfortunately, that website doesn't include any written descriptions of those moves. The following are my descriptions of those moves:
[...]
The "jiggle pop" movement are a rhythmical, fast double hip shake by female stomp and shake cheerleaders. Male stomp and shake cheerleaders don't usually shake their hips at all or as much as the female cheerleaders..
[...]
The "shake" movement is one in which the cheerleaders shake their hips from right to left to the beat. This movement differs from jiggle pop in that these aren't fast, repetitive shakes.

Here are directions for shakes that were given in this
tutorial:
Double shakes - "take your hip to one side twice, and then take your hip to the other side twice"
Single -"shake once this way [to one side] and then bring it to the other side" [shaking once] And you'll just keep going."
"Switch hip" - almost like a "double shake*
*Pancocojams Editor - This move is slower than a double shake.
Hip roll - "This is when you have a lot of hip sequences and you want a breather, you just roll it out"
