Thanks to Tennessee Brando, and thanks to United States Representative Jasmine Crockett and United States Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for their words in that May 16, 2024 House Oversight Committee hearing which inspired Tennessee Brando's original song and inspired  numerous other "Bleach Blonde Bad Built Butch Body" remixes. Thanks also to all those who are quoted in this post.

BACKGROUND FOR THIS SONG
Tennessee Brando's song "Bleach Blonde Bad Built Butch Body" immortalizes the words that were spoken by Representative Jasmine Crockett (Democrat-Texas) in the form of a question to the Chairman of that Congressional hearing. Crockett asked for clarification about the Committee rules and consequences about making negative personal descriptions of other Representatives.

The words "bleach blonde bad built butch body" are an unflattering description of Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene. Those words were spoken by Democratic Representative Jasmine Croker on May 16, 2024 as a clever clapback (retort) that was disguised as a question to James Comer, the Republican Chairperson of the United States House (Congressional) Oversight Committee hearing,

As background, during that late night Congressional hearing Greene (who is a White American) snidely referred to the long fake eyelashes that were worn by Crockett (who is African American.). Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez filed a motion to reprimand Greene for violating Committee rules against insulting a Representative's personal appearance. However, the Chairperson basically ignored that motion. At that point, Crockett asked the Chairperson for clarification about what would be considered a violation of that rule, for instance would saying that someone was a bleach blond bad built body a violation of that rule?

There were a lot of heated exchanges between Greene, Crockett, and some other Representatives during that Oversight Committee hearing,. Among the exchanges that occurred that evening was the statement "Oh girl, baby girl, don't even play" that Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Democrat- New York) who is known as "AOC" made to Greene.

Tennessee Brando's original song "Bleach Blonde Bad Built Butch Body" incorporates Crockett's disguised "clapback" and AOC's "baby girl/ don't even play" words along with unflattering descriptions of Marjorie Taylor Greene. Representative Greene is widely known for insulting other Representatives, and is also known for disrupting Congressional hearings and other official United States meetings such as the Presidential State of the Union.

LYRICS - "BLEACH BLONDE BAD BUILT BUTCH BODY"
(Tennessee Brando, composed May 17, 2024)

She’s a bleach blond bad built butch body
Swinging for the fences good God almighty
A heat seeking missile too scared to debate
Cries like a baby when she don’t get her way.

Yes, she can dish it out
But she sure can’t take it.
Her whole damn life
She just fakes it to make it.
Nobody cares what she has to say
New eyelashes wouldn’t help her anyway.

Cuz she’s a bleach blond bad built butch body
Swinging for the fences good God almighty
A heat seeking missile too scared to debate
Cries like a baby when she don’t get her way.

Yeah, she’s out there pushing their propaganda
Can’t get it done just blame it on Brandon
She loves to talk tough and throw around her weight
Old baby girl, don’t even play

Cuz she’s a bleach blond bad built butch body
Swinging for the fences good God almighty
A heat seeking missile too scared to debate
Cries like a baby when she don’t get her way.

Yeah, she cries like a baby when she don’t get her way.

"I stand behind Crocket from the first time I heard her make any comments! Love her ability to put it out there and not mince words. The song is great- very clever incorporating what both Crocket and AOC said. I was also thinking yesterday about what Michelle Obama said: "When they go low, we go high." I believe, we certainly don't want to stoop to their level; however, there ARE times when you have to stand up to the bully. Why is it that people, especially people in the South, will continuously vote against their own interests, then complain that life mistreats them? I don't think they realize that the candidate they worship and support could care less about their lives and will toss them aside after their vote."

WHAT THE WORDS "BLEACH BLONDE", "BAD BUILD", AND "BUTCH BODY"  MEAN

Bleach Blonde
From https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Bleach%20Blonde "urbandictionary.com bleach blonde"

"Bleach Blonde

An obviously unnatural shade of blonde that many girls in today's society dye their hair because they think it makes them appear "hotter" and more appealing to men when in reality, it disgusts most men and turns them away. Hair that is bleach blonde is typically ratty looking with lots of split ends. Commonly seen on girls with carrott-orange "tans" and girls who wear way too much makeup.

Heidi Pratt is a bleach blonde, her hair color is obviously artificial.

Having bleach blonde hair makes you look like a fake Barbie doll. That's not what most guys want. Most guys prefer a honey blonde or a dirty blonde over a bleach blonde.

2."Bad Built Bi-ch"

If she’s a B.B.B. It’s an acronym for a bad built b-tch*. When you see her, whether it’s with or without clothes the proportions are just mind boggling. No, not to be confused with a bbw or an ssbbw. This bi-ch is certifiably disproportionate. She may have an overly large chest but they’re deflated. Also a large midsection to go along with it with very small legs is common. They mostly look like Spongebob but can also look like Patrick. It is hard to focus on what they are saying because they will most likely be wearing something revealing. Thus further accentuating and displaying physical attributes you would rather not have seen. By all means let her be proud and confident. But make no mistake, She’s a b.b.b., triple b or 3b.

What she look like She bad? Nah bruh she a Bad Built Bi-ch. Her upper body is big and her legs are small.

Don’t be fooled my boy she’s a triple b, she flat in all the good parts and wide."

Butch body

Source #1
From  https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=butch "urbandictionay.com-butch"

a) "butch

A (traditionally) masculine man or woman, and especially a masculine lesbian. Often the "dominant" partner in a lesbian relationship, and especially of a butch/femme lesbian relationship.

Dressing masculinely does not make a woman into a lesbian, contrary to popular belief; it's usually more convenient.

Acting masculinely only means that's the gender role that the person identifies with; it has nothing to do with their sexual life. A highly masculine man could be gay for all we know and a very feminine man could be straight for all we know, and both of these cases are frequent.

Long, frilly dresses? Hair swept into a bun? Makeup? Silks and satins? Sweet, shy disposition? Definitely a femme.

Short hair? Denim? Leather jacket? Nose piercings? Motorcycles? Suits and ties? Loud and aggressive? How could that be more butch?

****
MORE NOTES ABOUT THE VERNACULAR MEANING OF "BABY GIRL, DON'T EVEN PLAY"
In African American Vernacular English, "Baby girl" is often used as a term of endearment. However, when Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said "Oh girl, baby girl, don't even play" during that May 16, 2024 House Oversight hearing, "baby girl" was a pejorative referent that minimizes and insults the female who is being addressed.

Also, in the context that she used those words, "Don't even play" is both a warning and a statement of fact that means "Don't play games with me (don't mess with me) unless you are ready to face the consequences because I'm definitely NOT playing. (I am serious). An earlier form of "Don't even play" is "Don't even try it".

**
The letters "FAFO" (f--k around and [you will] find out) are often used to refer to the consequences a person will face when they do or say something that results in them experiencing negative consequences.

**
A comment exchange about Representative Ocasio-Cortez's statement "Oh girl, baby girl, don't even play" was included  in one of the YouTube discussion threads that I read about the "Bleach blonde bad built butch body clapback or song. However, I didn't retrieve it then and can'tfind it now. The gist of those comments was that it's common for "baby girl" to have a "put down" negative meaning in the Bronx and in other boroughs of  New York City.

Ain’t Nobody Coming To See You Otis! Twitter suddenly brings up this David Ruffin quote from “The Temptations” movie, making Otis trend

By Bossyy, May 9, 2019

Hip-HopVibe.com Staff Writer
"Social media is a very strange place and “The Temptations” movie is currently dominating it. Fans are tweeting one of the infamous quotes from the movie. It’s not clear where people got this quote from, as the movie isn’t playing, right now.

One theory is that Ayesha Curry*, with her comments, has people resharing the quote. Last night, there were memes of people replacing “Otis” with “Ayesha.” The quote was “ain’t nobody coming to see you Ayesha,” where her name replaced Otis.

As the morning is coming to a close, Otis is one of Twitter’s leading trending topics. The quote is “Ain’t nobody coming to see you Otis,” from the movie. Everybody has jokes about this one, as they always do.

Read the Otis tweets below:

Pancocojams Editor: Here are two examples from that article:

The word "it" in this excerpt probably refers to The Temptations television mini-series. That min-series is almost always referred to as The Temptations movie.

PANCOCOJAMS EDITOR'S NOTE
"Ain't nobody comin' to see you, Otis" is an African American diss (insult) and a clapback. This saying was ad-libbed in 1998 by actor Leon while playing the role of David Ruffin in the 1998 American television mini-series The Temptations.

That saying appears to be known and used much more often by African Americans than by any other people.

Although I'm African Amerian, I confess that I never watched the 1998 television series "The Temptations" (even though it happened to be filmed in my adopted home town of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). And I only became familiar with the saying "Ain't nobody comin' to see you, Otisat saying as a result of reading it several times in tweets in a couple of trending accounts of the Easter Sunday 2021 Verzuz "battle" between The Isley Brothers and Earth Wind & Fire.  Those tweets were written in reference to African American celebrity game show and talk show host Steve Harvey because (in the opinion of those writing those tweets) he was talking too much about himself during that life streaming show and therefore taking time away from those groups singing their hit R&B/Funk songs.

**
"Diss" is an African American Vernacular English word that means "an insult".

**
Here's informarion about the meaning of the word "clapback":
From https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/clap%20back
"US, informal

: a quick, sharp, and effective response to criticism

Not to be confused with a garden-variety diss, a clapback is deemed by most as a targeted, often viciously acute comeback intended to place someone in much-needed check.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE TEMPTATIONS
"The Temptations are an American vocal group from Detroit, Michigan, who released a series of successful singles and albums with Motown Records during the 1960s and 1970s. The group's work with producer Norman Whitfield, beginning with the Top 10 hit single "Cloud Nine" in October 1968, pioneered psychedelic soul, and was significant in the evolution of R&B and soul music.[1] The band members are known for their choreography, distinct harmonies, and dress style. Having sold tens of millions of albums, the Temptations are among the most successful groups in popular music.[2][3][4]

Featuring five male vocalists and dancers (save for brief periods with fewer or more members), the group formed in 1960 in Detroit under the name the Elgins. The founding members came from two rival Detroit vocal groups: Otis Williams, Elbridge "Al" Bryant, and Melvin Franklin of Otis Williams & the Distants, and Eddie Kendricks and Paul Williams of the Primes. In 1964, Bryant was replaced by David Ruffin, who was the lead vocalist on a number of the group's biggest hits, including "My Girl" (1964), "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" (1966), and "I Wish It Would Rain" (1967).[5] Ruffin was replaced in 1968 by Dennis Edwards, with whom the group continued to record hit records such as "Cloud Nine" (1969) and "Ball of Confusion (That's What the World Is Today)" (1970). The group's lineup has changed frequently since the departures of Kendricks and Paul Williams from the act in 1971.

INFOMATION ABOUT THE TEMPTATION MINI-SERIES
From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Temptations_(miniseries)
"The Temptations is a four-hour television miniseries broadcast in two-hour halves on NBC, based upon the history of one of Motown's longest-lived acts, The Temptations. Executive produced by former Motown executive Suzanne de Passe, produced by Otis Williams and Temptations manager Shelley Berger, and based upon Williams’ Temptations autobiography, the miniseries was originally broadcast on November 1 and November 2, 1998. It was filmed on location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the spring of 1998. Allan Arkush directed the miniseries."...

This was a fictionalized scene that supposedly occurred during a rehearsal. David Ruffin was on drugs (crack) and the other members of the group were warning him that he would be fired if he didn't stop using drugs. In reality, David Ruffin was fired in 1968 because his drug use interferred with the Temptation's recording and tours.
