  1. Here are two other singers in that video:
    3:04 Dorothy Norwood can be seen wearing a red dress standing in the front to the far right of Shirley Caesar. Dorothy Norwood was a member of the Caravans and is a solo Gospel singer.

    5:12 Rev. Bobby Jones is to the left of Dottie Peoples in that video. Bobby Jones is a Gospel singer and was the host of the BET Sunday morning series Bobby Jones Gospel from 1980 to 2015.

  2. Here's a comment from that video's discussion thread:
    @veesolid9096
    "Sangggg Dottie!!! Sis had edges in the 80s"
    -snip-
    Sang! is an African American Vernacular English exhortation which in that comment means "to continue singing very well, especially to continue singing soulfully very well"

    edges = short hair placed around the hairline in textured hair styles that are most commonly found among Black females and Brown (Latina) female in the United States

  3. 3:24- Mother Mosie Burke wearing a red dress. Mother Burke was a lead singer in the Mississippi Mass choir
