Btw, all African American line dancers aren't female.

The word "brip" is an example of a person who is a member of the Blood gang purposely refusing to spell or pronounce words that begin with the letter "c" (especially the word "Crip") because they don't want to give any recognition to the Crip (gang). This was depicted on Issa Rae's television comedy-drama series Insecure.
