Juvenile is a New Orleans' rapper. "His" in this comment refers to DJ Jubilee, another New Orleans rapper. Click https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/jury-sides-with-juvenile-in-song-theft-case-71207/ for a 2003 article about Juvenile and DJ Jubilee. That article reports that a jury ruled against DJ Jubilee in his suit that alleged that Juvenile's hit 1999 song "Back That Azz Up" was based on Jubilee's 1998 song "Back That Thang Up" (also known as "Back That Ass Up").  The two New Orleans rappers had problems with each other prior to the release of both of those songs, as evidenced by DJ Jubilee's diss of Juvenile in his 1993 recird "Jubilee All".

"yeah i do agree that looking in retrospect this does look gay but back then at home this WAS how EVERYBODY danced.

remember the beenie weenie?

'Bounce fa da juvenile' / That ain't it! / Do the Jubilee  Aw / he made that sh-t*!"

*This word is fully spelled out in that comment. The words "Bounce fa da juvenile' / That ain't it! / Do the Jubilee ", a  diss to the rapper Juvenile,  are part of the lyrics to that song. "the Beenie Weenie" is a dance that DJ Jubilee made up and called out in his 1993 "Jubilee All" record.

"Shouldn't really give a crap about who judge you. If Missy Elliott, Mia X, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Lil Kim and Salt-N-Pepa can rap like the fellas, then it's cool that men wobble, shake and twerk like females. We worry about what people think of us too much. If they don't like us, they can just F <%k off!!! Can't please everyone."

This was before Lil Nas X Industry Baby where men was twerking. I don’t care if y’all agree or disagree about men twerking or shaking. Cheeky Blakk, DJ Jubilee, & Partners-N Crime also few New Orleans Bounce artist say twerk something, Ni--a*. I still shake and twerk. That’s like saying Women not suppose to play football or any other sport."

"So the first recorded instance of a song or video of twerking is men twerking? I think this drives the point home about gender being a social construct. I mean typically when we think of twerking we think of women doing it because it's mostly thought of as something women ( and effeminate men) do but here in this video we see seemingly straight men twerking in rap no less and proud of it. Somewhere along the line from this until now there was a shift in gender expectations for twerking. Where even though one of the first depictions of twerking was by men it became something more associated with feminity and considered less masculine.

Idk I just think it's interesting the way it played out."
