GoNoodles Video Description:
A character dressed as a large red moose with yellow antlers is seated in a chair on a set pretending to be a director of a scene. The setting is an obviously fake outdoor wilderness scene near a river. The moose says "Take it from the top" to the actors and the unseen film crew and the singing begins. The moose is also part of the singing.

The lead singer is a young Black woman with longish afro-like hair who is wearing a blue and red checkered shirt and white shorts (which is significant since this cheer originated with African Americans). A young White woman with brown hair worn in one braid on her right side is another singer. That woman wears a white shirt with a small blue vest and blue jeans. , and one young White man who wears a black fedora type hat, a blue tee shirt with the word "KALE" on it, an blue pants. The two women are standing in the front and the moose and the man are standing behind them. These singers perform "foot stomping"/stepping movements (including individual hand claps) and do the motions that are indicated by the words. Everyone stops moving while the two women talk to each other (in the I can't/Why not? portion of this "song".

While GoNoodles refers to this as a "song", it clearly is a "clean" version of the "Bang Bang Choo Choo Train" cheer/rhyme.

The beginning of this GoNoodles version has a command/compliance structure that is the same as certain foot stomping cheers where the group commands (demands; orders) that a soloist do something. At first the soloist refuses to do what is demanded until she complies after the group repeats their command. In this GoNoodles video, notice that instead of the entire group voicing this command, only the soloist and the woman (Gigette) are part of this exchange. My description of command/compliance foot stomping cheers and an example of that type of foot stomping cheer are found in the comment section for this post.

I consider GoNoodles' "Peanut Butter In A Cup" to be a clean version of "Bang Bang Choo Choo Train" because:
1. Its title "Peanut Butter In A Cup" avoids the controversy that sometimes has surrounded the "Bang Bang Choo Choo Train" rhyme/cheer.

2. It uses the healthy snack "peanut butter" instead of referring to the Reeses Pieces (peanut butter flavored candy) that is included in many more examples of the Bang Bang Choo Choo Train rhyme/scheer that I've come across. That said, I've read some examples of this cheer that include the words "peanut butter cup". However, those examples may have been composed after this GoNoodles video.

3. It avoids controversy by using the words "the sun's too bright" (which isn't in any version of "Bang Bang Choo Choo Train" that I've come across) instead of using the words "my pants too tight", or my bra's too tight", or "my skirt's too tight" that are in most of the examples of this rhyme/cheer that I have come across.

4. Its use of the words "My hips are popping from the left to the right" is an attempt to sound "cool" and avoid any controversy that might be suggested by the words "My booty shaking from the left to the right" which is widely found in this rhyme/cheer.

Warning
- This page critiquing Go Noodles includes one instance of profanity that I've quoted with amended spelling.

"GoNoodle is an educational website that was created on January 3, 2012 (according to it's domain) as a music-gaming website. The website also focuses on exercising games (from 2012) and dancing videos (from 2013) in order to help kids focus in the classroom and features fitness activities such as yoga and Zumba but despite this, GoNoodle went downhill when Moose Tube joined the lineup and the many attempts to be "hip and cool" by adding various memes and trends.

Why It F--ks Up Now
While it was still decent in 2014, the channel banners took an element out of YouTube because of the wallpapers on the channels back in 2014-2016 that were like the channel banners for people who used YouTube. However, this was changed for unknown reasons.

And even though it has a lot of channels, they are almost all bad and heavily annoying, with the worst being MooseTube (a parody of YouTube) and former channel NooNewNoodleGoo (a “remastered” version of Koo Koo Kangaroo."...

There are a number of YouTube videos that are drawn like this and that  feature the same clip of this cheer. This is one of the earliest dates for these videos that I've found. A very similar earlier video was published by ︎GirlQueen YT♡,  Aug 15, 2021, but the video flickered toward the end on purpose, which could cause seizures for people with epilepsy.

Here's the words to this cheer:

Lead girl - Bang Bang choo choo train
Come on Cricket do your thing.
Brigette - I can’t.
Lead girl - Why not?
Brigette - I can’t.
Lead girl - Why not?
Brigette - My back is achin.
The sun’s too bright.
My hips are  poppin from the left to the right.
Both girls - From the left to the right
Left, right, left right

  1. The GoNoodles' "Peanut Butter In A Cup" "song" has a similar structure as a sub-category of foot stomping cheers that I refer to as “command, refusal, command, compliance" [crcc].

    1. The group commands [orders] the soloist to do something.
    2. The soloist either outright refuses (saying something like "no way") or the soloist demurs (saying something like "too shy").
    3. The group repeats the same command to the soloist.
    4. The soloist complies with that command by either saying "okay" and then doing what was requested of her or the soloist just goes ahead and does what is commanded of her.

“Command, refusal, command, compliance [crcc] cheers are usually a sub-category of dance style foot stomping cheers because what the soloist is usually ordered to do is to show off her dancing or stepping ability. Certain examples of the foot stomping cheer entitled "Get Down" demonstrate this command/compliance style.

Here's one example of that type of foot stomping cheer:

    GET DOWN
All : I saida D-O-W-N. That’s the way we get down.
D-O-W-N. That’s the way we get down.
I saida D-O-W-N. That’s the way we get down.
D-O-W-N. That’s the way we get down.
Group: Hey, Danielle. (insert 1st girl's name)
    Danielle: What?
Group: Show us how you get down.
    Danielle: No way.
Group: Show us how you get down.
    Soloist: Okay.
    I said D-O-W-N.
    And that’s the way.
    That’s the way.
That’s the way I get down.
Group: She saidah D-O-W-N. And that’s the way.
That’s the way. That’s the way she gets down.

Performance instruction: Repeat the entire cheer with next soloist who says her name. This continues from the beginning until everyone has had a turn as soloist.

    Editor:
When the soloist says "that's the way I get down", she does some fancy step or dance movement. When the group says "That's the way she gets down", they are doing the same step or movement as the soloist. Each soloist tries to do something different from the dance or steps that other people ahead of her have already done
