Edited by Azizi Powell

This pancocojams post provides selected tweets from a twitter thread about how Jesus is usually drawn in the United States compared to how Middle Eastern men look/ed.

The tweet that prompted these replies was posted on the hashtag "Nowhere in the Bible..." https://twitter.com/search?q=%22Nowhere+in+the+Bible%22 . That hashtag was trending #5 in the United States at 7PM ET Feb. 6, 2021.

Thanks to Modern Man for starting this tweeter thread and thanks to all those who are quoted in this post.

PANCOCOJAMS EDITOR'S NOTE
This compilation presents selected tweets from one conversation that began in the
"Nowhere in the Bible" hashtag. However, that hashtag included many other topics in addition to that converstation and other tweets and their replies about what Jesus looked like.

Also, this compilation doesn't purport to quote the entire conversation from the tweet that began on that hashtag and its replies that were given on another tweeter account.

I started retrieving these tweets around 7:25 PM in the order that they were found in that conversation, minus tweets that I chose not to include in this compilation because they were similar to other selected tweets and for various other reasons. It's likely that there have been other tweets added to that conversation after I stopped retrieving tweets from that account.

The time notations that are given with each of these tweets aren't converted to an actual time. These tweets are given without any accompanying visuals or written attachments. Brief  explantions are given after a few of these tweets.

I've added numbers to these tweets for referencing purposes only.

Of course.  Simple math:  Bethlehem is in the Middle East; essentially North Africa.  A visit to the Middle East (e.g. Jordan) confirms lots of bronze or dark brown complexions with tight curly (wooly) hair.  Those denying the humanity of black/brown people ignore this.

Jesus was not a white man but that description is from a vision in Revelation and is likely not a description of his earthly form, unless you think his hair was white as snow. Also, his *feet* are described as being like bronze glowing in a furnace, not all of his skin...
