gave the same names for the Hausa days of the week.

A number of websites on baby names indicate that "Tanisha" and/or "Tani" are Hausa names that mean "born on Monday". People reading those websites might incorrectly assume that "Tanisha" or "Tani" means "Monday" in the Hausa language.
If those websites are correct that "Tanisha" and/or "Tani" are Hausa names, it appears that these names were made up from the Hausa day name "Litini".
