This pancocojams post showcases a television news segment about the viral "Dr. Pepper Baby" jingle that a young African American woman created on Tik Tok which quickly went viral and was picked up by the Dr. Pepper corporation.
This post also features examples of vernacular English comments about this story that were published in the YouTube discussion thread for that video.
I'm particularly interested the African American Vernacular English examples of these comments, although I haven't differentiated those comments from the other vernacular English comments.
I'm also interested in documenting the continued use of the word "cool" to mean "awesome".
(This post doesn't include any definitions except for this meaning of the vernacular word "cool".)
