This is Part V of a five part pancocojams series about the Percolator dance.

This pancocojams post showcases a YouTube video of a White man* who is allegedly performing the Percolator dance that was first created in 1992. That White man is joined in that dance by a Black man (YouTube video personality/publisher SkinBone.)

The discussion thread for this video presents selected comments about whether the White man (or any non-Black person) should be invited to the bbq?. (In the context of this video/discussion thread, "bbq" means "The Cookout"

*The White man showcases in this video is Sam Sanchez. Sanchez has been featured in several YouTube shorts allegedly dancing the Percolator. In 2025 he launched a YouTube channel instructing people how to do the Percolator and other dances. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSbwzFs1uWw .

PANCOCOJAMS EDITOR'S EXPLANATION OF "THE  COOKOUT" /"THE BBQ" AS USED IN AFRICAN AMERICAN CULTURE [written in 2020]
"The Cookout (or "the BBQ") in the context of African American culture is a reference for actual informal social events as well as the concept of informal spaces where Black people can relax, let down our guard, and “be [for] real” because the only people who are in those spaces are other Black people who have our well-being at heart  and possibly some non-Black people who have proven that they are our allies (i.e. They also have our well-being at heart.) 

African Americans may disagree which non-Black people have earned invitations to the Cookout (for that year).and which African Americans and/or other Black people have been dis-invited to the Cookout (for that year) and/or which African Americans and other Black people have been permanently banned from the Cookout.

Notice the change in meaning for the word "bro". This word used to only refer to Black males.
Now that word refers to males of any race/ethnicity and also can be used as a referent for people of any gender.
