  1. Students who begin college (university) in the United States are usually 18 years old. That is older than the students who are shown in the videos of Zimbabwe's Hillcrest College and South Africa's Hilton College. Since I was curious about this subject, I decided to google what "college" means in those countries and what was/is the age ranges of the boys who attend/ed those schools.
    Here's information from AI-Overview:
As a result of my question "What does the word "college" mean in Southern Africa? I learned that there are multiple meanings for the word "college" in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and probably other Southern African nations.

Zimbabwe's Hillcrest College fits this description given in AI Overview write-up:
"Some older, private, or mission-based schools in Zimbabwe use the term "College" in their name (e.g., St. George's College) but cater to traditional high school ages (12–19)"

    From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillcrest_College
"Hillcrest College (or Hillcrest, also informally referred to as Crest) is an independent, co-educational, boarding and day high school in Mutare, Zimbabwe"...

From AI Overview (This write-up is the result of my specific question "What are the ages of boys who attend Zimbabwe's Hillcrest College?" (I asked the same question to Google's AI for South Africa's Hilton College.)
"While specific age ranges for boys at Zimbabwe's Hillcrest College aren't detailed in the initial search, it's a secondary school, meaning boys typically start around age 12-13 (Form 1/Grade 8) and continue through their O-Levels (Grade 11/12) and A-Levels (Grade 13/Sixth Form), covering ages roughly 12 to 18+.

To get precise age details, you'd need to check their official website or contact the school directly, but generally:

    Lower Secondary (O-Level): Ages ~12/13 to 15/16 (Grades 8-11).

Upper Secondary (A-Level): Ages ~16 to 18+ (Grades 12-13/Sixth Form)."
    -snip-
    From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilton_College_(South_Africa)
"Hilton College, more commonly referred to as Hilton, is a South African private boarding school for boys located near the town of Hilton in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands"
    -snip-
    From AI Overview
"Hilton College in South Africa is a secondary (high) school for boys, meaning students typically enter around age 13 (Grade 8) and stay through matriculation (Grade 12), making the general age range roughly 13 to 18 years old, though some might join from Grade 7 and there are also preparatory school options for younger boys.

    Key Details
Type of School: It's a full-boarding, all-boys secondary school, focusing on high school education.

Entry Points: While most students join in their senior years (Grade 8/9), the enrolment process begins earlier (around Grade 6/7), allowing boys to join at different stages.

Age Group: Corresponding to South African school grades, students generally fall within the 13-18 age bracket."
