PANCOCOJAMS EDITOR'S NOTE
I'm a strong supporter of Kamala Harris. I wasn't aware of this zoom call before it was held, but might have joined because my maternal grandparents were from the Caribbean. For the record, my maternal grandfather (last name "Banfield") was from Tobago and my maternal grandmother (last name "Nurse") was from Barbados. Some of my uncles and my aunt were born in Barbados, but my mother and her younger brothers were born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. My father (last name "Manning") was a Black man from New York state who was long term fostered or adopted and raised by an African American couple in Pontiac, Michigan. My siblings and I were born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
