"Literally most of the world's music originated with Black
Americans. Jazz, blues, rock, funk, rap, Gfunk, trap music, R&B, electro
funk, disco, techno music, gospel music, soul music, trap soul music, etc.
Literally the whole world copies Black American music. For example you can put
in "rap" + any country and you will find it.

In fact most popular Latin American music has African roots
such as Colombian, Cuban, and Puerto Rican music. Certain sounds did not exist
in European Spain.

"@LostItt That's false. You made a number of historical
errors and clearly have not done any research whatsoever on this topic. Rock
didn't originate with Whites. It is an extension of Black Blues music. Also the
term "Rock N' Roll" is a Black American slang term that originated
with southern Black Blues musicians. here is a compilation of old rocks songs
before the 50s:
Secondly the wild and energetic style that comes with Rock N' Roll did not originate with Whites. That came from swing music and dance which was a style that originated with Black American Jazz musicians and what Whites thought at the time was ridiculous until many White youth started to adopt it after attending live performances with Black musicians:
https://youtu.be/ahoJReiCaPk
Now you you didn't respond to my claim that Latin American
music has African origins. That's easy to prove since Spaniards brought African
slaves to parts of Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Cuba, the Dominican Republic,
Venezuela, etc. Also that is just Africans. You haven't shown how Black
American was influenced by Latino especially when there was little to no
interaction between Black Americans and Latinos in the early 20th century. Also
the link you posted is ironic since Cartagena, Colombia is over 70% afro Colombian.
Anyway this is all irrelevant since Africans have nothing to do with Black
American music necessarily.

"@LostItt Techno was born out of Black disco and electro funk
music sampling during the 70s. Again it first originates with blacks then other
cultures adopt it. Look up electronica and electro funk music from the 70s and
80s. It was dominated by Black Americans. This has been a common trend since
Black Americans still take the lead when it comes to modern music innovation.
Keep in mind I am not talking about blacks in general but Blacks Americans who
even influence modern African music. Like I said Black Americans have
influenced modern music more than any other culture and this is supported
heavily by academic scholarship. I even referenced a textbook above that you
ignored.
Europe was heavily influenced by American music so pointing
to Germany is irrelevant. I have actually researched this topic. So far you are
pulling everything from the encyclopedia of thin air."

"@LostItt Alright your arguments are getting ridiculous now
and straying far away from the original topic which was about the origins of
all the music genres I listed. You either come up with an accurate response by
dealing with what I said directly or else you are getting blocked for waisting
my time."

racists have a problem with Black American achievement when it comes to music
genre and try to come up with bullsh-t* like appeals to infusions which is true
of all inventions since nothing is purely from ground up. None of that
undermines the fact that Black Americans are responsible for most of the
world's music."

"-- There's a particular subsection of Black music which has
tropical French-Caribbean origins of Afro descent that I absolutely love called
ZOUK! I sense a hint of Latin vibes which makes sense being that the Caribbean
islands are close to Latin America. It's not popular at all here in the US, in
fact .. im probably the only idiot here who blasts this music in my car lol
-- I have a genuine curiosity of what Black Americans think
of this music. I know that modern Black American music tends to revolve around
Hip Hop .. which i'm not really a fan of but as i've mentioned before, I can't
get enough of ZOUK!
--Here's one for reference. This is more of a modern sample,
obviously this kind of music has existed for a while and has its fair share of
older versions. It sounds awesome if you have a good sound system or
headphones! .. Don't be a wuss .. listen to the whole thing .. it's not that
long lol

"@LogosTheos there needs to be more research on West
African and Islamic (MENA) influence on African American work songs,
Spirituals, Gospels and ultimately Blues. If I believe European music
(including Classical) also has Middle Eastern influence? Last time I checked a
lot of musical instruments used in European classical music have middle Eastern
origins?

"As a white man watching this, I am trying to understand how
African American culture went from soulful blues and jazz to gangster rap. I am
a musician myself and am deeply influenced by it. I want to continue playing it
as an omage and because I love it. But how come every young black man I know is
more into gangster rap which seems to be about "bustin a cap" into
someone's head of their own race. Makes no sense to me. Why is Jimi Hendrix
considered a dinosaur in 2023?"
