Two sorors each carry a staff. One staff has the Greek letters of the sorority and the other staff has the year the organization was founded as well as the initials "AD" (which probably stands for "Assistant Dean"[of Pledges] ) and "VP" (which probably stands for "Vice President).  

The first person in the probate line holds a Sigma Gamma Rho shield.
