SELECTED COMMENTS: DANCEHALL REGGAE MEMORIES FROM THE UNITED KINGDOM AND VARIOUS OTHER NATIONS AROUND THE WORLD
There are a number of other comments from the United Kingdom and from various other nations around the world in the YouTube Dancehall Reggae discussion threads that I've read. However, these are the only comments that I've come across which mention a geographic location in those nations and also refers to Dancehall Reggae memories.
1. DW Robotics, 2018
"Loving these mixes. There was a big scene in London in the 90s. I was only a kid in teh 80s but I remember there being a kind of very electronic dancehall/soca type sound that was popular around the late 80's. Would love to find some of those tunes now, no idea where to start. I imagine it was an underground scene so probably difficult to track."

"I was a teenager back in the 80s and would go to gossips in soho every Saturday to listen to Rodigan and papa face. What a fantastic time that was. Now I’m in my 50s and live in Australia but I still love dancehall through to my bones.

"Have you all read 'my life in reggae' by Rodigan? It's killer and I'd recommend to anyone! I was born in 87 so I missed out on gossips, but to know Rodigans career is to know the history of reggae in the UK!"

Here's some information about "Rub-a Dub" music
"Andrew S Guthrie, Music Writer at Medium (2017-present), Answered Nov 14, 2020
"OK, via, “Patois Definitions”:
"Rub-A-Dub" or "Rub-A-Dub Style" is one the genres created during the passage between Reggae and Dancehall and was invented between the end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s. The term "Rub-a-Dub" comes from a dance style where the man and woman rubs up very close together and grind their hips to the beat.
But not wanting to rely solely on the simple web search, I will add that the term is tangled up in the whole Dub sub-genre of Reggae, which also has it own sub-sub-genres; that style being most basically an instrumental version of Reggae, songs that have been stripped of their vocal tracks, which allows (for one thing) for a live DJ, or (in Jamaican parlance) “toaster”, to add vocals over records played at a Sound System (outdoor, mobile DJ set ups). Frequently this type of performer shouts out things like, “Dub it!”, “Inna Dubwise style!”, and so on . . .
