INFORMATION ABOUT CHUCK BERRY
From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Berry
"Charles Edward Anderson Berry (October 18, 1926 – March 18, 2017) was an American singer, songwriter and guitarist who pioneered rock and roll. Nicknamed the "Father of Rock and Roll", he refined and developed rhythm and blues into the major elements that made rock and roll distinctive with songs such as "Maybellene" (1955), "Roll Over Beethoven" (1956), "Rock and Roll Music" (1957) and "Johnny B. Goode" (1958).[1] Writing lyrics that focused on teen life and consumerism, and developing a music style that included guitar solos and showmanship, Berry was a major influence on subsequent rock music.[2]

[…]

Berry was among the first musicians to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on its opening in 1986; he was cited for having "laid the groundwork for not only a rock and roll sound but a rock and roll stance."[8] Berry is included in several of Rolling Stone magazine's "greatest of all time" lists; he was ranked fifth on its 2004 and 2011 lists of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.[9] The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll includes three of Berry's: "Johnny B. Goode", "Maybellene", and "Rock and Roll Music".[10] Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" is the only rock-and-roll song included on the Voyager Golden Record.[11]"...

LYRICS- "RUN RUDOLPH RUN"

[Verse 1]

Out of all the reindeer you know you're the mastermind
Run, run Rudolph, Randalph's not too far behind
Run, run Rudolph, Santa's got to make it to town
Randalph, he can hurry, he can take the freeway down
And away went Rudolph, a-whizzing like a merry-go-round

[Verse 2]

Said Santa to a boy child "What have you been longing for?"
"All I want for Christmas is a Rock and Roll electric guitar"
And away went Rudolph, a-whizzing like a shooting star
Run, run Rudolph, Santa's got to make it to town
Can't you make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down
And away went Rudolph a whizzing like a merry-go-round

[Verse 3]

Said Santa to a girl child "What would you like most to get?"
"I want a baby doll that can cry, drink, scream, oh yeah"
And away went Rudolph, a-whizzing like a Saber jet
Run, run Rudolph, run, run Rudolph, a-running like a son-of-a-gun
Run, run Rudolph, run, run Rudolph, running like a son-of-a-gun
Run, run, run

Here's a note from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Run_Rudolph_Run about the composer/s of the song "Run Rudolph Run"
"There is some debate about authorship.[5][6] The original record credited authorship to Berry's music company (Chuck Berry Music, Inc.) and Brodie.[3] Only in subsequent releases did the writing credits go to Marks and Brodie[2] (and even then, this was not always the case, as multiple later releases by the label credited the song simply to Berry[7][6]). Marks was the songwriter of the thematically similar, but musically different, song Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.[8] All cover versions of Run Rudolph Run by other artists have since credited the song to Marks and Brodie (as published by Marks's St. Nicholas Music (ASCAP)).[9] Berry's song Little Queenie -recorded during the same session as Run Rudolph Run, and which was musically identical to, but lyrically different than, Run Rudolph Run[6]- was released shortly after Run Rudolph Run, in 1959. In it, the song never listed Marks or Brodie as a songwriter,[9] only Berry's music company[10][11] or Berry himself.[12][13][6]"...

ARTICLE EXCERPT ABOUT THE SONG "RUN RUDOLPH RUN"
From https://www.songfacts.com/facts/chuck-berry/run-rudolph-run
"Songfacts®:
Berry based this tale on "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer," giving Rudolph a bit of an attitude as he delivers the toys. Unlike Santa, however, Rudolph is copyrighted, and Berry had to give the publishing rights to Johnny Marks, who wrote the original Rudolph. Perhaps if Berry had used "Randolph" (another reindeer he mentions), he could have kept the publishing. That's what the makers of the British TV special Robbie the Reindeer did.

The song is sometimes known as "Run Run Rudolph," which is how it appears on Lynyrd Skynyrd's cover. Other artists to record the song include Sheryl Crow, Bryan Adams, The Grateful Dead, Jimmy Buffett, Dwight Yoakam, Bon Jovi and Keith Richards.

This was used in the 1990 movie Home Alone in one of those pre-9/11 airport scenes where the family rushes to the gate and barely makes their plane (minus Macaulay Culkin). Other films the song has appeared in include Diner, The Santa Clause 2, Cast Away and Jingle All the Way."...

"What a video. I first heard this song in the movie "Home Alone", when the McCallisters were running in the airport. The artwork and animation is a real show stealer, going with a pulp comic book style and portraying Chuck Berry as a more modern Santa Claus. Props to the animators who worked on this."
