SELECTED COMMENTS FROM YOUTUBE DISCUSSION THREADS ABOUT KAMO MPHELA'S SONG AND VIDEO "NKULUNKULU"
These comments are presented with a link to their internet source and are numbered for referencing purposes only. I'm presenting the comments from the two African American based reaction vlogs first because -in this example and in other examples- those discussion threads tend to include culturally explanatory comments from Africans (who live in are or are from the nation that is the source of that showcased music as well as other Africans) than the discussion threads of  the African videos that I've showcased on this pancocojams blog.

"Broh the song is about praying for fun for nice times 🍻☺for more money, for satan to stay away"

**
2. Ogone Mulutsi, April 2021
"Just to give a bit of context "Nkulukulu" means Heavenly Father

And the Nkulukulu part is her praying, which makes sense for her to be in churchπŸ˜‚

And then just to help, you pronounce her surname as Mpela basically, the "ph" doesn't sound like f, but a p"

"Nkulunkulu is God in isiZulu.  She is praying to God for blessings and prosperity.  This music video has the creme de la creme of Amapiano dancers in the game right now.  This video should be in contention for the Best Music Video in Africa period!!! Having Hope Ramafalo and Lehlogono Mashigo aka @hlogi_mash_ on IG in the same video with the Baddest Queen in the game Kamo Mphela is a blessing to the masses.

"Comprehensive comment right here!  Pronunciation tip for Mansa Mayne: the H is silent if it comes after another consonant.

**
6. Thembi Tabata, May 2021

"The prayer:

God can I please have 5cent.
It’s rough, it’s going to get worse.
I just want to be happy hallelujah
The devil is on my case
God can I have 100, can I have a thousand, can I have a million
Life will get better - just hang in there
Thank you life, thank you money...."

Kamogelo Mphela (born 29 November 1999), is a South African dancer and singer. She became an internet celebrityafter she posted a video of her dancing on her social media account. Her passion for dancing started at an early age, when she accompanied her father who worked at YFM and at events where she would perform on stage and dance which eventually led to her getting more exposure through live performances. She later became popular by posting videos on Instagramwhere she displayed her dancing skills. Before pursuing her dancing career, she had tried acting, and was an extra on the TV show Isibaya. She later realized she did not enjoy acting, and started performing as a gig dancer. Her dancing skills eventually got her the name "Queen of Amapiano"

In 2019, she got signed to Major League Music and released her Ep titled, Twentee under the label.. She has also released songs such as "Suka Emabozen" and "Menemene" and has collaborated with South African singer Busiswa on the single "Sbwl] and has featured on the MFR Soulz single "Amanikiniki" ranked No. 1 on Good Hope FM's SA House Music Top 10 Chart.] She has also performed and worked with local musicians such as Nadia Nakai and Killer Kau. I didn't wanna complement and critique at the same time, but the lyrics are not it for me. I feel like she can do better, as she grows continously as an artist. But I'm glad we're getting the pop girls visuals.
