This is a witty play on words that refers to "aunty coro" in this song's lyrics. I think the standard English translation is " If anti-coro catches coro, what would her name be?

  1. As an African American, I like reading YouTube discussion threads for contemporary African music and music & dance videos because those comments provide information and perspectives about living in those particular African nations.

I admit to being impressed that music from one African nation is known by people living in other African nations. Perhaps I shouldn't be impressed by that because maybe it's like people in one state in the United States knowing the music from an artist in another state. But that comparison isn't the same because, for the most part, almost all the people in the USA speak the same language and that's not the case throughout Africa or even in the same African nation. Besides that, I was raised believing that Africa was "the dark continent" without any culture. And instead of that I've learned that Africa is rich in cultures and Africans are far more cosmopolitan than people in the USA.

    1. I especially like reading YouTube discussion threads for contemporary Nigerian music/dance because I'm learning examples of Nigerian Pidgin English.

I also notice how often certain African American Vernacular English words and sayings are used in those comments, usually the same way that we (African Americans and non-African Americans) use them. That may be another example of how cosmopolitan Africans are. In contrast, I can't think of any Nigerian term that African Americans colloquially use...Well, some "woke" African Americans say "Ashe", but what other Nigerian (or other African terms or sayings) do we or other Americans ("UnitedStaters") say?
