Seven Videos Of The Malagasy Singing Group "Tenimana"

Edited by Azizi Powell

This post showcases seven examples of music from the Malagasy group Temimana. "Malagasy music" means music from the nation of Madagascar, an island country in the Indian Ocean, off the southeastern coast of Africa.

I've not been able to find any information in English or in French* about the group Tenimana, besides a comment that they are from Madagascar. With the exception of the song entitled "Jeso" which is found below, I don't even know if these songs are religious or non-religious. I'd love to add information about this group to this post.

*Since I don't understand French I would have to use Google translate to change it to English, so that translation might not be correct.
