[Patois] Definition: To replay a song, or start over from the beginning

Example Sentences
Patois: Pull up! Dah tune yah bad,
English: Start it over! This song is lit”

In the contexts of those sample sentences, both "bad" and "lit" are African American Vernacular English terms that mean "very good". "Lit" gets that meaning from the slang meaning for something or someone is "[on] fire"; "hot"; "smoking", "the bomb" etc. [i.e. looks or acts very good or is very good at what she or he does]
