ADDENDUM: 1955 Carman (with lyrics) - greatest hit!

I clearly remember how my father brings this videotape home!
Fantastic essence of old times!

There's a 1992 DVD entitled Carman - Addicted to Jesus, but I'm not sure if that is the source of this video. I'm also not sure if this video is a spoof on Pentacostal religion or is meant to be taken seriously. But the historical (or historical-like) clip of the choir singing is worth watching and hearing.
The song "I'm So Glad That The Lord Saved Me" begins at 5:47 and the entire song begins at 2:19. A transcript of the entire song beginning at 2:19 including "I'm So Glad That The Lord Saved Me" is included in the summary.

However, I was interested in the entire video, particularly how the video show the White sponsor of the church concert being concerned that the White towns people wouldn't like the fact that a COGIC choir (also referred to as a "Colored" choir) would be singing at that concert.
