1. Victor Okeke, 2021
"I was almost crying listening to this song

It's nostalgic.

It made me remember those tender years of our innocence.

Around 9 to 10 pm, radio stations play it on a regular.

Life was good then. We played and had no worries.

We were poor, but content and happy. We could stay till 10pm.

(We had a school version sef:

Exam eruwego, muna onye ga agba expo....)

It makes me remember my maternal grandmother who died years ago. This was her anthem.

Theresa Onuorah is a queen. She is a treasure. Her voice is like balm.

I revel in the richness of Igbo culture. The flute sound melts me."

This song, that chorus reminds me of when I was a child growing up. Back then, this was a song on radio. Radio Nigeria 2 if I'm not mistaken, it was the theme song for one of their afternoon programmes during the Igbo segment.  Thanks for this remake. The song always played when I was home and balanced on my afternoon meal of garri and soup, welcoming me home from the stress of primary school."
