"It's Ti-nah-sheh. That is the proper pronunciation. The ending is not 'shay' its 'sheh' like the 'she' in the word 'shed. I'm Zimbabwean and I have cousins with that name. Tinashe is a Shona name, the language and ethnic group of the majority of Zimbabweans."

The female radio host in this video said "Tinashe means “God is with us” in Zimbabwean" This commenter and others corrected her as there isn't any language called "Zimbabwean". What the radio host said is like saying that "John " means "God is gracious" in  "American".  This is incorrect because there isn't any language called "American" (not to mention that the name "John" is derived from the Hebrew name "Yochanan".
