Georgia's Epic Roll Call Led By Atlanta Rapper Lil Jon At The 2024 Democratic National Convention

This pancocojams post showcases a YouTube video of the state of Georgia's roll call for the 2024 Democratic National Convention. That roll call featured a surprise, live performance by Atlanta, Georgia's Hip Hop artist Lil Jon. 

The roll call is the official count of each state’s delegates for the Democratic nominees for President and Vice President.

A Brief Synopsis Of Lil Jon's rap at the DNC 2024 [Additions and corrections are welcomed] :

The lines that Atlanta, Georgia Hip Hop artist Lil Jon rapped at the DNC were politicized forms of two of his hit Hip Hop tracks. He began with shouting the word Yeeeeeaaaah!!!!". He also rapped "DNC, turn up for Walz" and rapped "Everybody get your hands up, Everybody get your hands up.Turn up for Walz!".The line "Turn up for walz" is a politicized form of the line "Turn down for what" in DJ Snake's and Lil Jon's 2014 hit track with that title. "Walz" is the last name of the Democratic nominee for United States President

Lil Jon also rapped the line "From the window to the Walz". The line "to the windows to the wall" is part of the 2002 track "Get Low" that was recorded by Lil  Jon & The East Side Boyz, featuring the Ying Yang Twins. 

Lil Jon also added the Harris-Walz slogan "We're not going back" as part of his rap for the Georgia roll call at the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

''I'm Congresswoman Hakima Williams, chairwoman of the Democratic Party of Georgia -, Georgia, the home of President Jimmy Carter, the cradle of the civil war where we fight for our freedom.

Extremists in Georgia are trying to silence our voices by kicking Georgians off of the road and making it harder to vote. But y'all, when we send Kamala Harris to the White House, she'll fight for our freedom to vote, our reproductive freedoms and our freedom to thrive.

In the spirit of good trouble. Georgia casts 123 votes for the next President Kamala Harris!!"
