"We Are Sorors" is a cover of the late 19th century African American Gospel song "We Are Soldiers (in the army)". It is usually sung when the new members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority are marching into an auditorium for their probate. (A "probate" is the first time that new members of a historically Black Greek letter organization are introduced to the general public).

The lyrics to thist Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority song are also included in this post.

The Addendum to this post presents a video of the song "We Are Soldiers" ("in the Army") as well as the standard chorus for that Gospel song.
