English translation: JESUS YOU'RE ABLE

Hmmm...
Lord, I’ve struggled, surely I’ve tried
Everything I touch, is like a heavy wind
It doesn’t stay still, I’ve lost the strength
But let me be strong, Jesus you’re able

Take a look at heaven, it don’t have no pillars.* *correct English: "It doesn't have any pillars
The birds in the air, they don’t grow food
Flowers in the bush, never miss their seasons
If you care for those? You can help me too.

chorus Jesus, you’re able, when they’re all gone
Everywhere I hold onto is like a water hyacinth
I have seen you helping orphans without a mother
Let me call on you, Jesus you are able.

(Surely you’re able) Jesus, you’re able, when they’re all gone
Everywhere I hold onto is like a water hyacinth
I have seen you helping orphans without a mother
Let me call on you, Jesus you are able.

It is you who has protected me, and spared me the grave
Babiry, I’d have died, I’d be the storming wind
You’ve brought me from far, many tears
Now, even here where I am, Jesus you can help me

Jesus, you’re able, when they’re all gone
Everywhere I hold onto is like a water hyacinth
I have seen you helping orphans without a mother
Let me call on you, Jesus you are able.

(When I have no hope) Jesus, you’re able, when they’re all gone
(Lord, when I’m perishing) Everywhere I hold onto is like a water hyacinth
I have seen you helping orphans without a mother
(Here I’ve come) Let me call on you, Jesus you are able.

Oh my Jesus, you’re able, it’s you who can handle my issues.

When I have no hope, my Jesus, I call upon you
You’re able, you’re able, hey hey

Indeed you’re able, you’re so able
Who spared me the grave, Jesus you’re able
Indeed you’re able, you’re so able
Who spared me the grave, Jesus you’re able to help me

Jesus, you’re able, when they’re all gone
Everywhere I hold onto is like a water hyacinth
I have seen you helping orphans without a mother
Let me call on you, Jesus you are able.

repeat chorus

Repeat chorus, add "When I’m slipping, falling" to the beginning of the third line

[Fades out...]

When the physician failed, You’re able LORD, my life, you can manage it.

I added the directions and the corrected English phrasing that are written in italics.

    1. You're welcome, Anonymous. Thanks to your comment, I re-visited this pancocojams post and found that the YouTube videos that I had embedded in this post were no longer available. I then embedded the sound file that is now in this post.

I'm glad that I have helped you and others find the lyrics to this Ugandan song that I probably found by "surfing" YouTube for East African Gospel songs.

      God bless you!
