This post provides information about House music and showcases a sound file and a video of the Jungle Brothers' now classic 1988 House music record "I'll House You" (clean version). Information about the Jungle Brothers is also given in this post.
This post also provide selected comments from the discussion thread of that featured sound file. Those selected comments focus on two aspects of bloggers' comments from this video's discussion thread: selected comments about how VEVO heavily censored this song's lyrics, and documentation of selected examples of bloggers' user screen names that are found in that video's discussion thread.

EDITOR'S COMMENT
This post continues my interest on examples of user names that are found in the viewer comment threads of YouTube.* I'm particularly interested in documenting types of "made up" user names because I believe that a review of those types of names can be of folkloric & sociological value. That documentation is of particular urgency because, since June 2012, YouTube has tried to convince its commenters and its video uploaders to switch to the use of their "real names" (first and last names).** And it appears that many people have done so, including me.
This post focuses on selected names used by bloggers that posted comments reminiscing about their experiences with old school House music. In this context, "old School" means music from the 1980s and 1990s.
This isn't meant to be a complete listing of the made up user names on this videos' viewer comment threads. However, I believe that these featured user names are representative of the types of user names that are found on that particular comment thread. I also believe that these types of YouTube user names are representative of many of the types of user names that are currently found throughout the internet.
I've added no analysis of these selected names. However, I will note that there a considerable portion of these names end in numbers. I'm not sure why that custom to have been popular and also seems to remain popular among those bloggers who use "made up names" on the internet.

Origins of the term
The term "house music" is said to have originated from a Chicago club called The Warehouse, which existed from 1977 to 1983.[43] Clubbers to The Warehouse were primarily black and gay,[33] who came to dance to music played by the club's resident DJ Frankie Knuckles, whom fans refer to as the "godfather of house"....
Chip E.'s 1985 recording "It's House" may also have helped to define this new form of electronic music.[47] However, Chip E. himself lends credence to the Knuckles association, claiming the name came from methods of labeling records at the Importes Etc. record store, where he worked in the early 1980s: bins of music that DJ Knuckles played at the Warehouse nightclub were labelled in the store "As Heard At The Warehouse", which was shortened to simply "House". Patrons later asked for new music for the bins, which Chip E. implies was a demand the shop tried to meet by stocking newer local club hits.[48]"...

In this context, "stand up" is short for "Stand up and be counted". Other ways of saying the same thing are "Let people know that you are here"., "Represent!" and "Holla! (Holler!). As shown throughout this compilation of comments from that discussion thread, people from cities besides New York City and nations besides the USA represented where they live/lived when they danced to this song by adding a comment naming that city or that nation.

"Tune" = the entire song and not just the song's melody.

In the context of this comment, "joint" means "song"/"record". "Jam" is another African American originated slang term for "song"/"record".
Notice that sweating a lot (gettin funky) is a sign the people were really dancing hard to a particular song.
The African American Vernacular English word "turnt" means "hyped", "pumped up", "crunked", "really energized", "really excited". "Turned up" is another way of saying "turnt".

Notice the lack of capitalization and punctuation in this sentence, and in others in this compilation. "It is actually "this is a blank formatted diskette". The sample was created when you formatted a floppy in the Ensoniq Mirage sampler keyboard. After formatting, the disk would contain this single sample as a test. I recognize it because I used to own one of these keyboards."

"Break it down!" was usually an exclamation to keep "telling it like it is". In the context of this comment, "break it on down" probably means that the Jungle Brothers should continue feeling and performing that music with all your heart, body, and soul. "Breaking something down" usually means to take it apart. The assumption is that if you are fully expressing something, you know and understand all of parts.
