INTRODUCTORY COMMENTS BY BISHOP RONALED E BROWN (from the sound file found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nh2ANs38sgE)
Note: The congregations' responses to Bishop Brown's call (words) are written in brackets.

"Every now and then we like to go way back.
[Yeah]
And pull out some old songs
[Yeah]
Hallelujah!
[Yeah] The congregation continues responding to each line of the introduction with “Yeah”; the pianist also plays a chord in response to each line of the introduction.
We’re talkin ‘bout spiritual warfare
We’re talkin bout pullin out the stronghold.
But there was an ooooold song
that they used to sing years ago.
There was an ooooold song
When it looked like the enemy was tryin to hinder,
When the devil was tryin to bind.
There was an oooooooold song
that they used to sing.
Hallelujah!
Somebody would get a tamborine.
Somebody had a washboard.
Somebody had a bass drum.
Somebody had different kind of music.
But they would get happy.
They would look at the saints of God
And say ___"[Bishop starts singing the song]

This is my transcription of this sound file. Additions and corrections are welcome.

The lyrics to this song aren't fixed. Nu Beginning- featuring Damon Little's song "Drive Satan Away" appears to combines late 19th century songs "Old Man Satan" and "Drive Old Satan Away". A version of those two songs is given in Part I of this post.

Here are those lyrics as found at http://www.allgospellyrics.com/?sec=listing&lyricid=11789
"Verse 1
Hebrew children were in the fiery furnace and Daniel was in the lions' den. And old man Satan thought he had them in the palm of his hand.

Chorus
Drive ol' Satan away.

Verse 2
When Moses was leading the children out of Egypt land, they were stuck in the red sea with Pharoah's army behind them.

Chorus
Drive ol' Satan away.

Verse 3
When Jesus died on the cross, old Satan thought it was the end of Christ. They went to the tomb on the third day, he died and rose again.

Chorus
Drive ol' Satan away.

Drive ol' Satan away. Drive ol' Satan away. Drive ol' Satan away.

Vamp
Drive ol' man Satan away. Drive ol' man Satan away. Drive ol' man Satan away. Drive ol' man Satan away. Drive ol' man Satan away. Drive ol' man Satan away. Drive ol' man Satan away.

Other examples of this song can be found on YouTube. Click https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tGbUCzcXbI for a recording of the song "Drive Satan Away" by Little Cedric And The Hailey Singers. That arrangement has a R&B/Soul flavor.
