"The snake-hipped duo took the opening night show's New York audience back in time by profiling the "Cabbage Patch," "Running Man," "Pop and Lock" and everyone's favorite — "The Robot."

Naughty by Nature got an outing with the "hey, ho" from classic track "Hip Hop Hooray" before the pair did the "MC Hammer" to "U Can't Touch This."

Next up was the "Spank That," which the "Men in Black" star seemed to enjoy a little too much.

Then, perhaps predictably, came the "Carlton" — the dance made famous by his Fresh Prince co-star Alfonso Ribeiro.

Ending with the "Twerk," this time it was Fallon's turn to get too carried away — with Smith walking off in disgust at his Miley Cyrus-esque antics."
The term "snake hipped" may refer to the 1930s dancer Earl "Snake Hip" Tucker. Click for a video of Snake Hip Tucker.
