Soloist: I have a friend
Who’ll go with me till the end
He’ll stick right by my side
through the storms of life, yes He will
He won’t let you down

Just keep trusting and believing
Things will work out alright.
[So] Jesus is my friend
In whom I appreciate
All that He’s done for me

TRANSCRIPTION OF INTRODUCTION AND SONG
Here's my transcription of the introduction to this song. This transcription is given without most of the audience responses.

[The woman speaker walks on stage. A woman in the audience says “Alright now!”]
Speaker: Holy is His name.
There’s no other name by which man can be saved except by the name of Jesus.
One song writer wrote “Everyday is a day of Thanksgiving.”
When you woke up this morning, and He started you on your way, did you say “Thank you?”
He put food on your table. Oh, I know that the Man is able. Did you say “Thank you?”
Take time to say “Thank you.”
He soothes your doubts and calms your fears. Tell Him “Thank you”.
He’s bread in a starving land. Water in dry places, joy in sorrow, my hope for tomorrow.
If I had ten thousand tongues it still wouldn’t be enough to say “Thank you”.
[A woman in the audience says “Alright!”]
Take time to say “Thank ya, thank ya Jesus!”

  1. Anybody know the lyrics to I Just Can't Tell You How Good He's Been? I like songs by Ms Mass Choir like It Wasn't the Nails, I Thank God for My Mansion, When I Rose This Morning, Grace and Mercy, Having You There(couldn't figure out what they were saying in that one either until I found the lyrics online), etc. Anyone know the lyrics to that song, because I have looked and found nothing. HELP?
