The Wooble & A Few Other African American Line Dance Videos

Edited by Azizi Powell

Revised - June 8, 2022

This pancocojams post showcases a few YouTube videos of African American line dances ("The Wobble", "The Electric Slide", "The Cha Cha Slide", a video entitled "Kickin It Old School", "Clear The Floor" line dance, & the "Black & Yellow Super Slide" line dance.

These selected videos of African American line dances are posted without editorial comment and posted in no chronological order or preferences - except I just had to add the video given as #6 below. That line dance video is from my adopted hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and one that includes my daughter, wearing the #43 shirt :o)

The content of this post is presented for historical, cultural, and entertainment purposes.

Thanks to all those who are featured in these videos and all those who are quoted in this post.

Video #6: Roland Ford and the Pittsburgh Soul Steppers-Black and Yellow Super Slide

Pghdanceambassador | January 26, 2011

Roland Ford and the Pittsburgh Soul Steppers rock out the Black and Yellow Super Slide. Jim Weaver (also in the video ) choreographed this soul line dance to Wiz Khalifa's song titled Black and Yellow. Although this song reps our hometown we have nothing but love for everyone who strives to represent the best of their hood, community, town, or city wherever it may be.
