The title "Stomp" and references to "stomp" in Shekinah Glory Ministry's Gospel song (and in other Gospel songs including Kirk Franklin's "Stomp") refer to the Pentecostal phrase "stomp on the devil's head" and the phrase "stomp the devil down". When people feel the Holy Spirit and did the holy dance during church worship services or elsewhere, they are said to be stomping on the devil's head, and stomping the devil down. Read several comments below that refer to this.

A number of Gospel songs include the phrases "stomping on the devil's head", and/or "stomping the devil down".

"Shekinah, Shechinah, or Schechinah (Hebrew: שְׁכִינָה‎), is the English transliteration of a Hebrew noun meaning dwelling or settling, and denotes the dwelling or settling of the divine presence of God and his cosmic glory. This exact term does not occur in the Hebrew Bible, and is first encountered in rabbinic literature.[1]:148, [2]

A similar Arabic word, Sakina (السكينة), is used in the Qur'an where it has a somewhat similar meaning."

"Shekinah Glory Ministry is an American gospel music group ministry from Chicago, Illinois, they started making music in 2000. The group is from Valley Kingdom Ministries International in Chicago. They have their own label imprint, Kingdom Records, that all albums are released under. They have released nine albums, with five of them charting on various Billboard charts. They even released, The Best of Shekinah Glory Ministry, that charted on the Billboard charts in 2009....

...They have six different aspects to their group from Encouragers (ministers to attendees of their services), Exalters (singers), Karar (dancers), Minstrels (musicians), Signs & Wonders (sign-language interpreters), Standard Bearers (flag wavers).[2]

(as sung by Shekinah Glory Ministry)

"I heard this song when I started going to Mt. Caramel Church and loved it. Their choir sings it but today the men's choir sung it and they tore it up Loved it and I am going to look for this cd."
"tore it up" = sung it very well, (same as "killed it")
