Being part-Asian myself, it's always an interesting (and often a sad) thing to note how not-fully-Asians are talked about (and often not fully accepted) in their "other home country".<br /><br />As difficult as being recognized as multi-racial in the US (where, at least in many places, one is still expected to fall within <i>one</i>, often homogenously conceived, racial group), a part-Asian, part-non-Asian in Asia have a greater difficulty of being even accepted as part of the culture, even if one is a national.<br /><br />At least we have some examples that show how multi-racial talent that claim Asian heritage are able to force many people into examining their perceptions of race (something that many people never really have to do in relatively homogenous East Asia).Umludhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09975670307431521495noreply@blogger.com
